"Our daughter was married in Dallas in March, 2024. Since we reside in a different state, we knew we needed an experienced and competent wedding planner to assist us. We met Shay and knew immediately she was the perfect fit for us. Shay assisted us with all aspects of our daughter's wedding from finding the perfect venue and hotel locations for our wedding guests, to offering a variety of suggestions for floral, photography, videography, catering, and entertainment. She also worked with the groom's family to plan and organize a perfect rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. 'I cannot say enough good things about Shay!!! She made our day run so so smoothly. She is organized, always available, and on top of everything! I didn’t have to worry about anything the entire wedding day. She came on about 8 weeks before the wedding and took over with all vendor communication to ensure everyone arrived on time. She set all the tables and did all the decorations for us and made the ceremony and reception look so beautiful. She had so many ideas on how to make our wedding special!! She even passed me my drink in between all the family pictures! I wish I could get married again just so that I could hire her again!!! From making sure us and our parents ate, keeping the whole day on schedule, getting the wedding party dressed and where they needed to be on time, she did everything!! As someone who likes to stay organized and be conscientious about costs, having her help was critical in planning a wedding with 200 people attending. She was able to help me breakdown the planning and booking into bite-sized pieces to avoid feeling overwhelmed. She was patient, fun, and understood the vision/vibe we wanted - cannot recommend The Art of Weddings enough.
